coverage
Saily covers 200 countries. Coverage is strong in Europe, North America, and popular Asian destinations. Gaps can appear in some African and Pacific island nations.
network
Saily uses KDDI au in Japan, Vodafone in the UK, and T-Mobile in the US, all Tier-1 hosts, with 4G LTE and 5G available where those carriers run it. The built-in VPN routes traffic through Nord Security's servers when you switch it on.
app
Saily's app is clean, modern, and privacy-focused. VPN integration is built in: toggle it on within the same app that manages your eSIM. The checkout flow is straightforward, though an account is required before purchase.
pricing
Plans start from $1.10/GB across popular destinations. The privacy premium is built in: VPN protection is included on every plan with no add-on cost. A 5GB Japan plan costs $8.99 on Saily. Price is one of Saily's stronger dimensions, since its published per-GB rates undercut Airalo in most markets.
support
Email-only support in a single language. There is no live chat, no WhatsApp, and no phone line. Support scores 3.9/5 on our rubric, Saily's weakest dimension for that reason. The refund window is 30 days.
Final Verdict
HelloRoam is the first pick for most travelers. Saily is the privacy alternative if you want Nord Security VPN inside the same app. At 8.6/10, Saily outscores Holafly (8.3/10) on setup and price. For coverage breadth, Airalo is the multi-country alternative.
